What's included 1st Stage FT15IN - 10 IN. inline activated carbon filter 10 IN. -- gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes and odors, cloudiness and colors, Tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standard. 2nd Stage FA15 - Alkaline filter -- producing a pH 8-9 water. How to install?

Check if the refrigerator comes with 1/4 IN. tubing on the back (contact us if it doesn't)

Shut off water inlet to fridge, draw the 

left over

 water from fridge water dispenser to release the remaining pressure

Cut the fridge's 1/4 IN. tubing in half (prepare 

towel

 or a cup to catch water spill). Cut the 1/4 IN. tubing in this kit in 

half,

 cut a piece about 3 inches long

Connect these parts to form a circle, starting from one broken end of the fridge's tubing: the inline ball valve, the half of 1/4 IN. tubing in this kit, the FT15, the 3-inch 

of of

 1/4 IN. tubing, the FA15, the other half of 1/4 IN. tubing in this kit, another ball valve, then the other end of fridge's tubing

Check to ensure all tubing 

are

 inserted into quick-fitting for about half inch deep. Slowly turn on the water inlet, check and fix any leak by fully inserting the tubing

Put the whole kit on top of 

fridge

, better to place it in a tray 

for

 

minimize

 potential water leak damage (a water leak 

alarm / water

 detector is recommended)

Draw about 3 gallons of water from fridge water dispenser to flush out carbon dust in the new FT15 or the ice cube may turn dark
